Who
We Are

We are Crosslinx Transit Solutions

Crosslinx Transit Solutions (CTS) is a design and construction consortium building the Eglinton Crosstown LRT. The consortium is comprised of four global and local leaders in transportation infrastructure: ACS-Dragados, Aecon, EllisDon and AtkinsRéalis.

Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario awarded the contract to CTS for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT in July 2015. CTS works with our provincial partners to design, construct, and finance an integrated transit system consisting of 25 stations and stops, tracks, signals, communications system, as well as a maintenance and storage facility. Following the Crosstown’s completion, CTS will maintain the line for 30 years.

Our Clients

Metrolinx is the project owner and oversees design and construction, and will conduct the testing and commissioning of the line. Infrastructure Ontario led the procurement process and negotiated the project agreement, and provides quality control and oversight.

Crosslinx Transit Solutions Entities

CTS is comprised of three separate entities, as is typical of Public Private Partnership contracts.

  • Crosslinx Transit Solutions General Partnership or “Project Co” is the partnership that has contracted with Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario to deliver the Crosstown project.
  • Crosslinx Transit Solutions Constructors is the partnership responsible for the design-build portion of the project.
  • Crosslinx Transit Solutions Maintenance GP is the partnership responsible for maintaining the Crosstown over its 30 year lifespan.

Our Commitments

We strive for world class performance in delivering the Eglinton LRT Project.

Toronto needs more fast and efficient transit. The Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) is slated to reach 9.5 million people by 2041. To accommodate this growth, Metrolinx has planned the largest transit expansion in Ontario’s history. At the core of this expansion is the Eglinton Crosstown LRT.

To deliver the Crosstown on-time and on-budget, we’re forging strategic relationships throughout the GTHA. CTS is more than its four parent companies; we depend on hundreds of direct hires, subcontractors and community partners to meet our objectives. Regardless of role, everyone on the Crosstown team shares our commitment to the Eglinton community and Toronto as a whole.

Crosslinx Transit Solutions Values

  • Safety First: Safety is critical to our success. We maintain an unwavering commitment to keep ourselves, partners, subcontractors, and the public safe during our project.
  • Build Relationships: We exercise the highest level of transparency and collaboration. We actively build relationships with our key stakeholders including the TTC, City of Toronto, utility companies, and local communities.
  • Manage Disruption: We will manage disruption to communities, businesses, and the public, including vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians.
  • Deliver on Time: Completing the project on time and budget will drive CTS’ entire organization during the design and construction period.
